"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32. + o( k& P0 M3 I% C$ ?& @" m! l# v2 I* _( h8 s) J5 H6 D* M
"We have one more seat to fill in our 12-seater minibus. If my husband said that’s it, we would stop, but we both enjoy having children so much." - N! \" I5 m: {; ` - r3 N1 D. `, p% i/ t) }. KThe couple support their six girls and three boys on the wages Mr Warriner earns as a police sergeant, without the aid of benefits. + _( d& L8 _+ O4 `
- _5 I+ o% t, {$ i T/ tTheir oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. 7 j( _/ j; P4 ` v7 z4 p
- v) a' ~: w0 L6 V0 h% T+ E; G v7 uAnother boy, Callan, arrived in 2003 and was followed by threeyear- old Taitum. 0 ~# j- C& b8 X

Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. , X6 @: p8 c8 c m
4 O2 R- B3 o5 fShe had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. / H+ _1 t! Y# s* H* ]8 K) Z
7 v- x: G5 K0 o' q l i% A( U& Y" D" aMrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. 5 w2 C1 k+ a1 e1 y 8 s) w! I: \7 @But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. / |& P' X$ i. F 5 ^3 A3 I! l* u# O+ n! |"We are not planning to have another one at the moment but we’ll have to wait and see what comes. 8 M8 K# e* g; F8 l

"People think we are mad but the children are our life and bring us so much pleasure. 2 D! e( C% X" P0 {

"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now." * B4 @4 m( N, c! s% T1 p

Mrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. ( o) p/ `# {8 T) p% C; S; x$ w9 @& }( I
To accommodate their family, the couple, from Bournemouth, have had an extra-large bath fitted and have extended their six-bedroom detached house. ' A$ ?* G/ `: n" S3 ^4 j , ?: p, g! l% |They spend £170 a week on their food bill. And as a result of rising bills, they have not been on holiday for three years. 1 J4 d" a5 g) @, |) i % x! r `7 e2 ^7 yThey struggle to organise even a weekend away as hotels and holiday homes are unable to accommodate so many children. G* r2 ^ ) s& m' Y; U& cMr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight. % Z7 p, i) O: t/ L 8 |% o& _# p G2 |- P"We agreed to settle for six but it hasn’t worked out that way." $ r$ }+ m5 v ^; `( C

He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
