" I; `9 u# g% iThe idea being that disease could be banished by releasing the infected blood. 9 o: \8 U _' d% W& ~$ q ( N6 V6 W0 i1 O/ ?That idea fell out of fashion during the 20th century, with the discovery of modern drugs. But today, as interest in traditional medicine grows, they are making a comeback - particularly in the former Soviet State of Georgia. & r6 B3 j% Q$ C: V* H g* d6 k: o& L f/ J9 w! E7 G% i
