耶和华的天使在敬畏他的人四周安营， 搭救他们。——诗34：7

大卫不认为耶和华惟独搭救他一人逃脱迦特王的毒手。 大卫知道， 耶和华差遣天使看顾所有忠心崇拜他的人， 不论他们的地位是高是低。 在现代， 真正崇拜耶和华的人也体验到耶和华的保护。 在纳粹德国、 安哥拉、 马拉维、 莫桑比克， 以及其他许多国家和地区， 当权的人虽然发起了不少行动， 要铲除当地的耶和华见证人， 却总是白费心机。 上帝的子民继续欣欣向荣， 一起尊崇上帝的名。 为什么呢？ 因为耶和华差遣圣洁的天使去保护和指引他的子民。（来1：14） 除此之外， 耶和华的天使也能引导事态， 那些在耶和华子民当中绊倒人的必被除去。（太13：41； 18：6，10） 《守》07/3/1刊1篇16，17段

在上个世纪里，恐怕耶和华见证人是受到大规模迫害的最大的宗教团体之一，从三四十年代的纳粹德国到五六十年代的苏联，70年代的加拿大美国，到当前的非洲国家。但是我们看到，不管是在那个强权国家，见证人从来没有被吓倒，反倒更加放胆传道，你可以说他们很勇敢，但是单凭个人的能力，这样的工作是无法完成的。
耶和华说他的天使在他的子民周围扎营，虽然人看不到这些大能的灵体，但是我们知道，他们在无形中帮助我们。特别是危机的时刻。

The angel of Jehovah is camping all around those fearing him, and he rescues them.—Ps. 34:7.

David did not view his rescue by Jehovah from the hands of the king of Gath as something that could happen only to him. He knew that Jehovah uses his angels to watch over all of his faithful worshippers, regardless of whether they are prominent or lowly. In our modern day, true worshippers have also experienced the protection that Jehovah provides. In Nazi Germany—as well as in Angola, Malawi, Mozambique, and many other lands—authorities have waged campaigns to wipe out Jehovah’s Witnesses. Their efforts have been in vain. Instead, Jehovah’s people in those lands continue to thrive as they exalt God’s name together. Why? Because Jehovah uses his holy angels to protect and guide his people. (Heb. 1:14) In addition, Jehovah’s angels can maneuver matters so that any who cause others to stumble are removed from among Jehovah’s people.—Matt. 13:41; 18:6, 10. w07 3/1 1:16, 17

Der Engel Jehovas lagert sich rings um die her, die ihn fürchten, und er befreit sie (Ps. 34:7).

David dachte nicht, nur er könne von Jehova aus der Hand des Königs von Gath gerettet werden. Er wusste, dass Jehova seine Engel über alle seine treuen Anbeter wachen lässt, unabhängig davon, ob sie im Mittelpunkt des Interesses stehen oder eher unscheinbar sind. Auch in unserer Zeit haben wahre Anbeter den Schutz Jehovas verspürt. In NS-Deutschland — ebenso wie in Angola, Malawi, Mosambik und vielen anderen Ländern — wurden gegen Jehovas Zeugen Ausrottungsfeldzüge geführt. Die staatlichen Maßnahmen verfehlten allerdings ihr Ziel. Die Zahl der Diener Gottes, die in diesen Ländern den Namen Jehovas erheben, nimmt sogar weiterhin zu. Warum? Weil Jehova seine heiligen Engel beauftragt hat, sein Volk zu beschützen und zu leiten (Heb. 1:14). Außerdem können Jehovas Engel alles so steuern, dass jemand, der andere zum Straucheln veranlasst, aus dem Volk Jehovas entfernt wird (Mat. 13:41; 18:6, 10). w07 1. 3. 1:16, 17
