死人却毫无知觉。——传9：5

那么， 死去的人还有什么希望吗？ 有的。 如果上帝实现他原本对人类的旨意， 死去的人就一定有希望。 千百年来， 上帝的忠仆都对耶和华有信心， 深信他应许的苗裔最终会消灭撒但， 并消除撒但所造成的伤害。（创3：15） 这些忠仆大多死了。 如果他们要看见关于苗裔的应许以及耶和华的其他应许实现， 就必须从死里活过来才行。（来11：13） 这件事有可能发生吗？ 有可能。 使徒保罗说： “义人和不义的人都要复活。”（徒24：15） 曾有一个名叫犹推古的年轻人从三楼的窗口掉下去， “扶起来已经死了”， 保罗却使他活过来。 圣经有九个关于复活的记载， 保罗复活犹推古是最后一个。（徒20：7-12） 圣经这九个关于复活的记载提供可靠的根据， 使我们坚信保罗的话。 《守》07/1/1刊2篇1-3段

《聊斋志异》，《人鬼情未了》，《魔戒──王者归来》，《第六感》，《午夜凶铃》……看到上面这些题目，可能你立即会想到鬼，或者不死的灵魂。但是实际上圣经有另外的观点。它告诉我们，死去的人就像睡了一样，他们不知道世上发生的事情，也不会对死后的人产生任何影响。他们没有计划，没有工作。然而圣经也告诉我们，死去的人会在未来复活，虽然我们到现在没有见过复活的情况，但是不撒谎的上帝已经通过圣经像我们简要说明了是怎么一会事情。如果圣经阐述的所有预言都陆续应验，那么这个预言必定在未来应验。死去的亲人能够活过来，我们应当是多么高兴？何不查考一下圣经，看看如果才能得到这个奖赏呢？

As for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all.—Eccl. 9:5.

Is there any hope, then, for those who have died? Yes. In fact, there must be if God’s original purpose for mankind is to be fulfilled. Over the centuries, loyal servants of God have exercised faith in Jehovah’s promise about a Seed who would destroy Satan and undo the harm he did. (Gen. 3:15) Most have died. If they are to see the fulfillment of that promise and of others that Jehovah has made, they need to be raised from the dead. (Heb. 11:13) Is such a thing possible? Yes, it is. The apostle Paul said: “There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” (Acts 24:15) Paul once resurrected a young man named Eutychus, who had fallen from a third-floor window and was “picked up dead.” This is the last of nine resurrections recorded in the Bible. (Acts 20:7-12) Those nine resurrections provide a basis for faith in Paul’s statement. w07 1/1 2:1-3
