As a Supply Chain Consultant you have one goal: to provide the customers with innovative supply chain solutions that work.
You will become a reliable partner of the customer for the entire project life cycle:
You will visit our customers on a regular basis, about 30% of your time. You start with analyzing their challenging planning needs. You will design a prototype, develop the model and optimize your solution. At all times you will work in close collaboration with your colleagues working on the same projects. You will implement the planning and scheduling solution with our planning tools. You will validate it with the customer’s project team.
Finally, you will train the customers in the use of their new advanced planning solution. After a project implementation you will also support the customer, working together with the customer services team in Belgium. Involvement in business development activities can also be part of your job.
As a more technical consultant you take care of the more technical part of the job, e.g. integration issues and customized algorithms.

Your role
1. Contact person of the customer on site during the implementation phase of large automation projects (involving hardware, software, services etc.)
2. Communicate the requests from Delivery Manager to customer and vice versa
3. Prior to installation
• Provide advice to Delivery Manager about overall project plan
• Customer onsite condition check to be prepared for installation
• Preparation to start installation, e.g. vehicle rental, entrance document etc.
4. During installation and acceptance • Goods unloading coordination, based on the contract condition
• Installation and commissioning onsite coordination
• 3rd party main power coordination
• Regular project communication meetings on site and weekly status report to Delivery Manager
• Production support, onsite training arrangement
• Translation support to international engineers
• Open issues summary and follow up during acceptance phase.

1.Carry out ensuring regular contacts/visits with company’s existing customers to maintain and develop friendship for keeping sustaining business relationships.
