Fife of Homeland Security Investigations in September, according to court documents.In response to a question from the agent, Reed identified the girl as a 2-year-old relative, Fife wrote in an affidavit seeking a search warrant for Reeds Gmail account. In reviewing Reeds online activity, the agent found the defendant had shared with others the same photograph hed shared with Fife, court documents said.By reading Reeds emails, the agent determined that Reed was camping in a tent along the Massaponax Creek south of Fredericksburg, Va. Reed was arrested Oct. 17.
