　　今年45岁的沃里纳与现年32岁的“好生养”太太雷娜，育有6女3子（包括3胞胎女儿），最大的9岁，最小的还未满月。结婚时他们协议生6个，没想到越生越高兴，雷娜坦言自己已经“生上瘾”。 ; _; j4 d! x0 b' l0 i& P

　　小生命带来快乐，但是，照顾孩子相当辛苦。雷娜每日忙足了17小时，要接送孩子到不同学校、每天洗衣服也要洗上4遍，工作量比一般主妇多几倍，一家11口全靠沃里纳的一份薪水养活。夫妇俩已经3年没有放假了，也很少见朋友，但是，沃里纳说：“这个家是我们的命根，我不觉得缺乏什么。” % d, e4 }! |) \! R; n

Their oldest child, Eryn, is nine. A year after her birth, the couple had Jackson, now eight, followed two years later by Harrison, six. 1 H' r3 m0 b- c- @( o8 q

In March 2005, Rayna had triplet girls Ilish, Romany and Meredith, who are now 23 months.

+ Y2 v3 T4 k/ q7 |" r! LThen on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset.

She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta. % n- R% x  U3 ^2 H: ^; d

4 _" @5 Q9 u& c. M' OMrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. 7 s! Y* v- |5 v$ A( v5 o

But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood.

( ^5 J& Y/ m$ A6 q5 B0 q"When we married we said we’d have six, then my husband joked that we’d have eight to wind my mother up, but we’ve gone beyond a joke now."

  o, n7 l- a1 F# NMrs Warriner spends her exhausting 17-hour day ferrying her children to various schools and nurseries, doing four loads of washing, shopping, cooking, cleaning and reading countless bedtime stories. % o, \# ~5 {3 e2 u: O

' w3 V. q" T7 t( D: MMr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight.

He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
