Ich bin ein Maschinenbau Student an der RWTH mit der
Vertiefungsrichtung Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik. Ich besitze auch die
Private Pilotenlizenz PPL-A  und muss meine jährlichen Flugstunden
zwecks Scheinvelängerung, sowie für die große Pilotenlizenz
absolvieren. So dachte ich, ich veranstalte an den Wochenenden 4. / 5.
und 11. / 12. Ausgust Rundflüge über Aachen und Umgebung vom Flugplatz
Merzbrück aus (Nähe Eschweiler). Da es sich um ein Vereinsflugzeug
handelt, sind die Flugstunden sehr günstig. Es handelt sich um die
reinen Selbstkosten, da ein PPLer kein Gewinn für sich erzielen darf.
So liegen sie  für einen halbstündigen Rundflug zwischen 16,50 ? (für
eine Cessna) und 23,50 ? (für eine Piper) pro Person für jeden 3er
Gruppenflug. Das Flugzeug ist eine 4-sitzige *Cessna 172* oder  *Piper
PA28 *(Pilot und 3 Passagiere), das regelmäßig gewartet wird.

Für das obengenannte Wochenende habe ich die Cessna C172 reservieren
können. So wird eine halbe Stunde16,50 Euro kosten. Standardroute ist
entweder über Aachen Stadt und Rursee, oder Aachen Stadt und das
Kohleabbaugebiet neben dem Kraftwerk Basweiler. Natürlich könnt ihr
länger und wo anders hin fliegen. Die Kosten erhöhen sich auf Basis
von 99 ?/St für die 3er Gruppe (33 ? / St pro Person).

Diese Gelegenheit wollte ich allen anbieten, daher bitte ich alle
Interessenten, sich bei mir per Email zu melden. Ich werde mich mit
mehr Details zurückmelden und versuchen, euren Wünschen
entgegenzukommen.

Dear Students,

I'm a mechanical engineering student at the RWTH Aachen specialising
in aeronautics and space engineering. I also own a Private Pilot
License PPL-A and need annual flying hours to have it renewed and be
admitted to the ATPL License examination. Based on this, I'll be
organizing sightseeing flights over the Aachen Region at the weekend
4th / 5th of Ausgust. I'll be taking off from the aerodrome Merzbrück
near Eschweiler.

As a PPL holder, I'm not allowed to have any profit, I'll be just
earning back my self expenses for the charter costs. The aircraft,
under regular check and maintenance,  will be chartered from my flying
club and the 30 minutes flight will cost 16,50 Euros  for each one in
a 3 persons group. At the weekend mentioned above, I've managed to
reserve a Cessna C172 with 4 seats (Pilot and 3 passengers).


As a standard route, I fly usually one of the following combinations:

1. Aachen City and the Ruhrsee.
2. Aachen City and the coal digging site near the Basweiler power plant.

Of course you can fly more that 30 minutes and else where, in this
case the price will be calculated on the bases of 99 Euro / hr for the
whole 3 persons group (33 Euro per person per hr.)
