"I’m hooked on the adrenaline rush I get from having a beautiful baby and it is a miracle that lasts a lifetime," said the former nursery manager, 32.

Then on January 27 she gave birth to Avie, weighing 7lb 11oz, at Poole Hospital in Dorset. 9 W! a* ~4 z& q" M7 q4 c

She had a difficult labour this time round, and needed a blood transfusion after problems with the placenta.

Mrs Warriner is now considered to be at high risk of complications if she becomes pregnant again. & A3 A6 T; s! i3 @+ e  L0 K: L

But despite the potential problems, and the considerable squeeze on their finances, she says she remains hooked on motherhood. , F4 m; |' d& y0 x# i

Mr Warriner, 45, who is applying for promotion to inspector to help support his brood, added: "When we got married ten years ago, Rayna said she’d like four children and I joked that I wanted eight.

He added: "We haven’t had a holiday for years or a night out together. We don’t have a social life but I don’t feel I’m missing out."
